Here's a view of the 4,000-km-long Valles Marineris canyon on Mars made from images captured with the EXI camera on UAE's Hope Mars Mission on May 23, 2023 from about 21,000 km. South on Mars is toward the top here.
It is a system of canyons that runs along the Martian surface east of the Tharsis region. At more than
4,000 km (2,500 mi) long
200 km (120 mi) wide
and up to 7 km (23,000 ft) deep

If you would be on mars surface, you would see It more like a valley than a canyon like the Colorado one.

In most places , if you stood on one rim, you would not be able to see the opposite rim due to the curvature of Mars. When part of the Valley is in daylight and the other in night, the temperature difference can cause very strong winds to blow along its length. These winds are not like Earth’s, as the Martian atmosphere is so thin.
