On Tuesday, May 19, the Comets pounded out 15 hits in 5 innings to topple South Burlington 13-1. Marah McGinn started in the circle and combined with Irie Shedd on a 3-hitter with 11 K’s.
Offensively, the Comets were led by Chatham Brouillette, who had three hits and two RBI. Nora Tatro had two hits, including her third home run of the season. Khloe Carpenter had two hits, including a double and three RBIs. Isabella Stuart also had two hits. Aubrey Marchessault, who has had a shoulder injury all season long, had her first action of the season since game one. She went 2-for-2 with a walk!! Welcome back, Aubrey.
