JONESBORO, Ark. — A retired NASA astronaut will deliver a lecture and meet-and-greet at Valley View High School in Jonesboro this summer.
Commander Susan Kilrain, an aerospace engineer and retired astronaut and Navy test pilot, will speak at the Valley View Fine Arts Center on Thursday, June 18. It will begin at 6 p.m. that day.
Kilrain flew to space twice and was the youngest person and second woman to pilot a space shuttle.
