A retired US Navy Rear Admiral, Tim Gallaudet, has claimed that Earth’s oceans may be inhabited by aliens possessing technology far more advanced than anything humans currently have. In an interview with Popular Mechanics, Gallaudet discussed a 2015 incident involving a Navy F/A-18 aircraft off the eastern coast of the United States, which later became widely known as the “Go Fast” sighting after the footage was released to the public.
In the video, a fast-moving object appeared as a small white streak on the aircraft’s monitoring system before rapidly accelerating across the landscape. Gallaudet said the event was circulated internally through an email with the subject line, “URGENT SAFETY OF FLIGHT ISSUE,” warning military personnel about unexplained aerial encounters and the risk of potential mid-air collisions involving unidentified objects.
What particularly caught Gallaudet’s attention was the extraordinary movement of the object. He argued that its speed and manoeuvrability appeared to exceed the limits of known human engineering. According to him, current technology cannot produce vehicles capable of travelling seamlessly between water and air at such extreme speeds while also making sudden directional shifts and sharp-angle turns. The retired Admiral suggested these capabilities point to technology far beyond what humanity currently possesses.

Adding to the mystery, Gallaudet claimed that the email and attached footage disappeared from his account the following day without his involvement. This unusual deletion deepened his suspicion that important information about these sightings was being intentionally concealed from the public and even from some military officials.
Renewed Interest in UFO Disclosure and Government Secrecy
The “Go Fast” case is only one of several high-profile UFO incidents reported by military personnel over the years. Another widely discussed example is the 2004 “Tic Tac” encounter involving former Navy Commander David Fravor. Fravor described witnessing a strange aircraft near the coast of San Diego that lacked visible wings, exhaust plumes, or rotors, yet moved at astonishing speeds reportedly exceeding 10,000 miles per hour. Like Gallaudet, Fravor suggested the craft displayed capabilities inconsistent with conventional aviation technology.
Gallaudet believes these unidentified craft are likely controlled by a higher form of non-human intelligence. While he stopped short of definitively calling them extraterrestrial, he argued that they do not appear to belong to the known natural world or to any recognized plant or animal species on Earth. He also suggested that some of these entities could originate from Earth itself, possibly from unexplored oceanic regions, though their true nature remains uncertain.
Interest in such claims has intensified following renewed public attention surrounding the release of so-called “Alien Files” linked to former US President Donald Trump. UFO researchers and enthusiasts increasingly believe that a long-anticipated “Disclosure Day” could eventually occur, a moment when governments formally reveal evidence confirming the existence of non-human intelligence.
Gallaudet has repeatedly argued that the US government is withholding critical information about sightings such as “Go Fast” and “Tic Tac.” He emphasized that uncertainty surrounding the intentions and origins of these craft represents a potential national security concern. According to him, individuals connected to classified government programs have gathered materials and evidence suggesting these objects are indeed controlled by some form of intelligence, even if their motives and identity remain unknown.
