With 24 wins as of this writing, the Greenville Lady Comets are the number one seed in their subsectional and the top seed in the Vandalia Class 2A Softball Regional, which will be played next week.
The Lady Comets will play a semifinal game at Vandalia on Tuesday, May 19 at 4 p.m. against the winner of Monday’s game against Vandalia and Staunton. Also in the regional are Olney and Hillsboro.
If the Lady Comets win Tuesday, they will play for the regional title Friday, May 22 at 4 p.m. in Vandalia. The Vandalia Regional champ advances to the Nashville Sectional and will play Tuesday, May 26.
