On Thursday, May 14, the BFA-St. Albans Comets’ tennis team lost to Montpelier, 7-0.
We had some good matches, including Emily Ackel, playing at #2 singles, who had a competitive match, losing 6-3, 6-1, with lots of deuce-deciding points. Also, Tessa Rocheleau had a great day with a 6-2,6-2 score, losing in lots of close deciding points as well.
Lily Routhier at 4th singles had a long, hard-fought match, going down in a very close set 7-5, and keeping it close with a 6-4 second set.
Doubles team Claire Auyson and Talitaih Paterson played well together for their first match together, losing 6-3,6-1
Senior day is Tuesday, May 19, against U-32
