He’s being played as a puppet by one side of the faction. His wording over time can be seen as evolving into this. He’s being told what, when, and how to say things, whether by Grusch or some other party. I’m a Grusch fan btw, but even he isn’t perfect nor do we know his true intentions.
With that said, I still don’t think it’s for our benefit. There is a side to this that does want this out, but again I don’t think their motives are altruistic.
