Child development center ribbon cutting
Oklahoma City Public Schools cut the ribbon on their newly expanded and upgraded childcare center inside US Grant. It’s for parents who work at the high school and learn there. Now, children are just down the hallway from their parents inside the classroom. In 2023 nearly 600 births were to mothers under 18 in Oklahoma County.
Orth Ranch update
Owners of Orth Ranch are looking to rebuild following a tragic fire over the weekend. A barn on the property caught fire early Sunday morning, killing at least 17 horses inside. The ranch owner has created a GoFundMe and a benefit auction. Links to both are on KFOR.com.
Joey Chestnut at OKC Comets
Calling all baseball and food fans! Tonight, the Oklahoma City Comets are set to play against the Salt Lake Bees, and a special guest will be there. Competitive eater joey chestnut! Chestnut holds 55 competitive eating records around the world. The game starts at 6:05p.m. at the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
