The breathtaking duo of the Lagoon Nebula and Trifid Nebula captured from last month’s imaging session.

This image was taken with over 3 hours of total exposure using my William Optics RedCat 51 paired with a ZWO 533MC camera, SVBONY SV240 & SV260 multiband filters, AM3 mount, and ASIAIR wireless controller.

M8 shines with its vibrant hydrogen clouds and active star-forming regions, while M20 stands out with its beautiful mix of emission, reflection, and dark nebulae all in one frame. Seeing these deep-sky objects together makes every hour under the night sky worth it.

Clear skies everyone!

  1. I love the lagoon/trifid area, I took a similar shot last year, only about half the exposure time though so i dont have as much detail and depth.
