Some religious leaders in the US claim they have been asked to prepare believers for the possible publication of information on UFOs and extraterrestrial life, which, according to them, could cause major debate within Christian communities.

Perry Stone, a well-known evangelist and author from Tennessee, has stated that several influential pastors were recently invited to a closed meeting with US intelligence officials.

According to him, the topic of the meeting was the preparation for the publication of secret files on unidentified flying objects and materials of non-human origin.

In a video posted on YouTube on April 27, Stone claimed that pastors were told about the existence of “reptilian” creatures, UFOs and material that, according to him, sounded like a science fiction movie script.

Stone warned that the alleged release of this information could lead some believers to question the biblical account of creation. He said that some people might interpret the possible existence of other forms of life in galaxies as evidence that the biblical creation story is a myth.

According to him, this could cause confusion among believers and prompt some of them to leave the Christian faith if they do not receive answers from religious leaders.

Along the same lines, Stone claimed that officials have warned that people outside the Christian community may react with panic and demand explanations from churches, pastors, and religious teachers.

The meeting reportedly involved about six Christian leaders. One of them, Bishop Alan DiDio of Revival Nation Church, confirmed that he was part of the discussion. He said the meeting took place at a rented house in the Tennessee mountains and that the topic was the US government’s investigation into technology that is claimed to be of non-human origin.

Another reported participant, evangelist and podcaster Tony Merkel, said intelligence officials had expressed concern about the impact such a revelation could have on organized religion. The goal, he said, was to prepare Christian communities for what might come.

The three religious leaders have linked this scenario to the biblical concept of the “great deception” in end-time prophecies. They warned that the possible release of information about UFOs could be used, they said, to weaken faith in Jesus and portray Christians as an obstacle to the truth.

They have called on churches to prepare in advance so that believers are not shocked by possible information, but remain connected to the biblical interpretation of the world.

US political figures have also joined the debate. Vice President JD Vance has been quoted as saying he does not think it is about aliens, but about “demons”. Meanwhile, Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna has suggested that the public read the Book of Enoch, an ancient Jewish religious text, claiming that some ancient accounts may be related to modern reports of unidentified phenomena.

Luna has previously said that, although she has not personally seen a spacecraft, she has seen evidence and photographic documentation of flying vehicles that, according to her, do not appear to be man-made.

However, the claims of pastors and political figures remain independently unconfirmed. So far, there is no public evidence to suggest that the US government is preparing to release materials confirming the existence of extraterrestrial life. /GazetaExpress/
