As the 40th Anniversary for Aliens approaches, we’re all eagerly awaiting any significant news to mark the occasion. Even though this isn’t an official part of that, letterboxd revealed that James Cameron was considering converting Aliens to 3D:
We are thinking about converting Aliens [to 3D], because I know now that the tools are so much better than they were for creating depth maps. We’re probably going to wind up converting Aliens, which will be a fun experience.

Since it is said that they’re considering it, we can’t be sure if this will happen or how quickly we could see the finished product. Cameron has already done similar widely praised conversions of Titanic as well as Terminator 2. Would you like to see such a conversion for Aliens? Let us know in the comments below!
