Former NASA astronaut Scott Altman stopped by the Las Vegas Science & Technology Festival at West Charleston Library on Tuesday to speak and answer questions from curious kids.

Altman, who also worked as an aerial stunt pilot in the movie “Top Gun,” shared stories from his multi-faceted career, from learning how to fly and studying engineering, to being a space shuttle commander and leading a mission to repair the Hubble Space Telescope.
