The Greenville Comets varsity baseball team remained on top of the South Central Conference standings with a 14-1 victory at Litchfield Tuesday.

Rowdy Sussenbach pitched a five inning complete game.  He allowed just two hits and struck out six.

Once again, the Comet bats were very active.  Sussenbach helped himself with four hits.  He also scored four times.

Trey Melton and Cannon Hamel were each credited with four runs batted in.  They had one hit apiece.

Drake Curry also totaled four RBIs and banged out two hits.  Drake Graber and Dominic Sanchez totaled two hits apiece, and Dayton Oliver and Brock Riedemann also hit safely.  

The Comets are 5-0 in league play with the next conference game Friday at home against Pana.   They are 14-6 overall.

The junior varsity Comets won 5-3 in three innings at Litchfield.
