Creative Assembly has posted a teaser video for what appears to be its Alien Isolation sequel over the weekend, with a video titled ‘A False Sense Of Security’ featuring some atmospheric rain and an emergency phone save station.
There isn’t a direct mention of Alien Isolation 2 but we already know that Creative Assembly is working on a sequel to 2014’s critically acclaimed survival horror title, so it’s a safe bet to assume it is. “A feeling of being safer than on really is,” the accompanying text reads.
Here’s what Creative Assembly had to say during the announcement of Alien Isolation 2 back in late 2024:
On the 10th anniversary, it seems only fitting to let you know that we have heard your distress calls loud and clear.Today, I’m delighted to confirm, on behalf of the team, that a sequel to Alien: Isolation is in early development. We look forward to sharing more details with you when we’re ready.
Alien Isolation was originally released in 2014 for PS4, PS3, PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The game takes place 15 years after the events of the original 1979 horror classic, and follows Ellen Ripley’s daughter, Amanda, who is investigating the disappearance of her mother on the space station Sevastopol.
