I spotted something unusual in the night sky today and managed to capture it on my phone.
There were dozens of tiny white dots grouped together, and the interesting part is they were moving slowly across the sky in the same direction. They didn’t blink like airplanes, and they weren’t spread out like normal stars. The pattern also wasn’t fixed like a constellation.
At first I thought it might be a star cluster, but the movement rules that out. It also doesn’t look like a single satellite, because there are many objects moving together in a loose formation rather than a straight line.
Some possibilities I’m considering:
A Starlink satellite train (but this looks more scattered than a straight line)
Multiple satellites in similar orbit
Something atmospheric or reflection-related
Captured from: Surat, India
Time: (10pm)
Has anyone seen something like this before or can explain what this is?

Amazing!
Don’t just watch from afar; please go and catch the evil people who start wars and kill children.

Uh… Birds.
Several migratory species reach their peak migration in India during mid to late April and migrate at night.

Looks like birds on a moonlit night

No video? The bright moon light seems to have washed all the color out of the pics.
Did they have an orange-ish tint? Could have been a Saturday night sky lantern release.
