Kerry students have reached the national stage of a European Space Agency competition.
Mercy Mounthawk secondary school secured their place in the final following the regional competition, hosted at MTU campus.
They will send their team entitled ‘The ARC’ to represent Kerry in the national finals, held in Co.Laois this month.
The CanSat competition challenges students to design, build and launch their own mini-satellite.
The winning team will go on to represent Ireland at the European event.
