In 2011, explorers scanning the floor of the Baltic Sea picked up a weird sonar image of a 60 metre‑wide circular object lying about 90 metres underwater — with unnervingly straight edges, a flattened top, and what looked like a long “runway” leading up to it. Some even said it resembled a spaceship from science fiction.

Divers who later descended down reported electrical instruments glitching near the site and unusual shapes that don’t quite fit with normal rock formations — and suddenly wild theories spread from ancient structures to extraterrestrial visitors.

But here’s the twist…

Scientists argue the object might just be a natural geological formation shaped by ancient glaciers, and no one has confirmed anything definitive yet.

So what really lies at the bottom of the Baltic Sea — a bizarre natural wonder… or something else entirely?

Bob Lazar said the Sport Model was an underwater archaeological site.

    He’s not the only one

  2. I find it hard to believe no one has been back down there in 15 years after these odd findings, if they are in fact true.

  3. A group was supposedly attempting to go down several times over the last decade. not sure how that ended.
