The Greenville Lady Comets softball team was defeated in a home game Monday by Centralia.
The final score was 9-6.
On offense for GHS, Emma Bingham homered in the fourth inning. Clare Glisson and Bingham finished with two hits apiece.
Also hitting safely were Payton White, Kaitlyn Lurkins, Haylee Clark, Ava Potthast and Jana Glisson.
It was only the second loss in 14 games this season for the Lady Comets.
