Time: march 26 2025 at midnight
Location: a few km away from HQJOC(B) Canberra
Myself and a few others observed this while around a camp fire at a farm that is situated right next to this army base (secret underground base). I took these pics with a nothing phone 3a pro which has a very good zoom. I’d guess that this object was about 2-3km away. You can see that it was still bright and visible in the sky even after the sun had come up. Underneath in the valley we could also see many red and blue police lights underneath and going between the area and the army base.
I was very intrigued and when the sun came back I watched the object shoot up and away and then drop back to exactly where it was.

Hard to say what it is, just looks like a blob of light to me.
Posting a bokeh doesn’t prove anything.
