Gravity assist is really something. It saves so much fuel, we wouldn’t be able to accomplish this otherwise.

These animations and artistic representations are always funny to me because you can fit every single body classified as a planet in our solar system nut-to-butt between the earth and the moon. People dissociate why these missions take two weeks at high speed
So they end up crashing into Earth after never making it to the moon ☪️

All these graphics are not accurate. You can fit all the planets of the solar system minus 1000km between Earth and the Moon. That is the distance travelled and return.
