The first couple of pics show strange alterations (damage?) of the stones. Something (IMHO) similar to what I've seen in the Brien Foerster's or Andrey Sklyarov's videos of Peruvian sites. These particular stones were in the area that was closed to the tourists, but the people working there went to lunch, so we snuck in to take a few pics. I have no idea where in the site those stones originally were.
The rest of the pics are the views of the site and the high quality stonework there. There is something very similar to the other sites I saw around the world – the base layer is very good stone work, the upper layer is something much more basic, in this case – mud bricks.
Pics are taken on 10/25/2025.
