Who?
Rep. Eric Burlison (R-MO) — Oversight Committee & Secrets Task Force
Ask a Pol asks:
The annual NDAA — or National Defense Authorization Act — season’s coming soon. Do you think there might be more support for something like Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and Sen. Mike Rounds’ UAP Disclosure Act this time around?
Key Burlison:
“I do,” Rep. Eric Burlison exclusively tells Ask a Pol UAP. “The time that I spent [last year] talking to these Committee Chairs in both the House and Senate has at least loosened the soil. So I think that’ll give me an opportunity when I go back and have the conversation, it’s not going to be a fresh topic to them.”

Full disclosure: After months of being waitlisted, I’m now a part of Reddit’s Contributor Program (i think — it’s green AF). And my interactive political journalism startup, Ask a Pol, is now enrolled in Reddit Pro (beta).
Combined, my inaugural estimated payout is $6.35 (“Earn a minimum of $10 and 100 karma to be eligible to receive a payout”). Any others enrolled? Doesn’t quite seem ready for primetime yet…

**Caught our ear:**
*Especially now with the White House on board?*
“Yes,” Burlison tells us. “What we’re trying to do right now is, I’m trying to work with the White House on the language and say, ‘Look, based on what you’re planning to do — does this* dovetail in with your goals for release?’ and ‘What kind of real mechanisms do we need to put in place to operationalize this disclosure?’”

Get rid of AARO and have a new group with all the Title 50 and Executive powers to declassify ? Seems like the current process has gone nowhere but “catch and kill”
