The clock is ticking for the Pentagon as US lawmakers demand the immediate release of top-secret files documenting bizarre UFO encounters. Federal agencies have been slapped with a strict deadline to hand over dozens of classified videos showing unidentified objects buzzing military bases and war zones.
Republican firebrand Rep Anna Paulina Luna has spearheaded the charge, firing off a demand to the US Secretary of War for 46 specific clips of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP). The ultimatum to Pete Hegseth is clear that must deliver the goods by April 14.
The requested footage reportedly features a gallery of high-speed enigmas, ranging from spherical and “Tic Tac” shaped objects performing impossible manoeuvres to cigar-shaped craft lurking in sensitive airspace.

The files also include footage of bizarre formations caught on camera over Iran and Syria, as well as a recorded 2023 “shootdown” incident over Lake Huron.
Luna, who chairs the House Federal Secrets Task Force, warned that the mysterious visitors aren’t just a curiosity, claiming they pose a direct threat to the safety of US troops and pilots.
Luna said: “The lack of disclosure regarding the very real threat posed by UAPs in and around US restricted airspace is concerning.
“The presence of UAPs in and around the sensitive airspaces of US military installations poses a threat to the security of the armed forces and their readiness.”
The pressure on the Pentagon has reached fever pitch following President Donald Trump’s executive order on February 19 to blow the lid off the government’s UFO archives.
While the official All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) has been slammed by the task force for providing “less than adequate” answers, whistle-blowers have claimed the government is sitting on a mountain of high-definition evidence.
One particularly explosive request involves a “massive disc” filmed weaving through clouds over the Afghanistan-Pakistan border in November 2020.
The footage, previously leaked by investigative journalists Jeremy Corbell and George Knapp, reportedly shows a spherical craft being tracked by high-altitude Air Force tech.
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has promised he won’t be part of a cover-up. Speaking during the “Arsenal of Freedom” tour, he admitted he never expected to be the man hunting for little green men.
Hegseth said: “I did not have that on my bingo card at all. We’re digging in. We’re going to be in full compliance with that executive order, eager to provide that for the president.”
When grilled on whether he believes in extra-terrestrial life, Hegseth said: “We’ll see. I get to do the review and find out along with all of you.”
With the April 14 deadline looming, the world is waiting to see if the US government finally admits that we are not alone – or if the objects belong to a rival superpower testing American defences.
