I’m in full anticipation of getting some awesome shots of Artemis or the Orion capsule transitioning the Moon.
This is a historic moment and not enough people are aware of that, hopefully such images can give this mission some good PR.

I was in Daytona tonight and there’s sooooo many people trying to see this launch. For kicks I had my kids call for room rates. A room at the Motel 6 in Cocoa Beach (cheapest by far) $350 a night. If you can find a room. Beaches should be full from Miami to Jacksonville.
The slop machine has failed you, the capsule is too tiny to be visible at this distance with amateur telescopes. Maybe when it’s close to the Earth (still, smaller), but definitely not when nearby the Moon.
