Vice President JD Vance has uncorked a theory about aliens that seemingly only he could and that virtually no one seems to agree with. According to Vance, aliens actually aren’t from outer space, but from hell.
Appearing on conservative podcaster Benny Johnson’s show, JD Vance said he has been “obsessed” with the government’s UFO files since taking office and vowed to get to the bottom of it.
Despite his self-proclaimed obsession, however, he also admitted he hasn’t actually gotten around to reviewing the files yet, saying: “I’ve already had a couple of times where I’m like, all right, we’re going to Area 51, we’re going out to New Mexico. And then the timing of the trip just didn’t work out.”
His lack of education and research on the topic didn’t stop him for sharing his half-baked theory, though, which is that aliens are actually demons.
JD Vance’s opinion of aliens is predictably absurd as Vice President says they’re actually demons
JD Vance Tells Me That UFOs are DEMONS:

“I don’t think they’re aliens, I think they’re demons anyway, but that’s a longer discussion,” Vance said. “Celestial beings who fly around, who do weird things to people — I think that the desire to describe everything celestial, everything as otherworldly, to describe it as aliens,” he said.
“Every great world religion, including Christianity, the one that I believe in, has understood that there are weird things out there and there are things that are very difficult to explain. One of the devil’s great tricks is to convince people he never existed.”
Vance’s take on where aliens come from was swiftly blasted on social media.

Some pointed out how Vance’s take borders on religious zealotry.
I don’t think a country whose leaders think like this should be allowed to have nuclear weapons. https://t.co/mZ6f2sLNm4

Vance’s absurd take on aliens comes amid renewed public interest in the topic after former President Barack Obama said earlier this year that aliens are “real” but that he hasn’t personally seen them and they’re “not being kept at Area 51,” while Donald Trump has pledged to release government files on UFOs and extraterrestrial life. No files have been released yet, though.
