The following is a statement from ICE Boston.
ICE Boston arrested Bolivar Rivera-Perez, a twice deported criminal illegal alien from Mexico whose lengthy criminal history in the state of Massachusetts includes carrying a firearm while intoxicated, two counts possession of a large capacity weapon, discharging a firearm near a highway, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building, possession of ammunition with no FID card, and improper storage of a firearm.
Perez was also convicted in Pennsylvania for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
ICE Boston lodged an immigration detainer against Rivera-Perez with the Franklin County House of Corrections on March 24, 2025; however, they refused to honor the ICE detainer and released Rivera-Perez back into the community on March 31, 2025.
