Mansarovar lake is a sacred site of Hindus and Tibetian Buddhists . Located near Kailash range at high Himalayas , near Indo-China-Nepal border . The area known to be abode of hindu God Shiva . Himalayas has lots of anecdotes of sightings of glowing objects . This lake is specially known for such sightings. The glowing objects appear in late night near the lake . This lake is at high altitude and happens to be a desolated place , except for few hindu/Buddhist pilgrims going there from time to time . Culturaly it is believed to be energy body of ancient sages who went through intense meditation in harsh conditions of Himalayas . Some say it is the demi Gods who are followers of Shiva .
