The Nephilim were the physical children of the Fallen Angels, the Watchers, who God had entrusted to watch over mankind after Adam and Eve were removed from the Garden of Eden
Those Fallen Angels materialized into human form, took human women for wives, and had hybrid half human, half angelic children, which were called the Nephilim.
Much like hybrid animals like Ligers (half lion, half tiger) and Tigons (half tiger, half lion) and mules (a male donkey mated with a female horse) they were much larger in size than normal and sterile like all hybrids are.
If the flood story is true, then the Nephilim were either killed (drowned) or they had to abandoned their physical bodies–perhaps they were the so-called “demons” in Jesus’ day that had to possess humans (you know, when Jesus asked who was in the possessed man or woman and they replied: we are legion) while their spirit fathers, the Fallen Angels, re materialized back into their Angelic form to escape the flood.
So the Nephilim are either 1.) all dead, 2.) stuck in spirit form, or 3.) none of it is true.
