Filmed this orb around Christmas time last year while heading to an uncle’s Christmas party. Will add Slo mo that shows distortion and it also appears to be like a “halo”

The distortion and halo are camera effects. The former is due to movement (assuming that/s what you’re referring to, the stretching) and the later is the compression.

None of that explains what this *is*, however. I checked the most obvious thing, ISS, but there’s no pass at that time. All the passes around those dates are in the morning, not evening. Tiangong does pass at almost that time, 7:16 to be exact. But I don’t think that’s it, the pass is too close to the horizon to match this, I think.

OP- can you describe a bit more what you were able to see from a visual perspective? No sound at all, no wind, classic orb, evenly lit it looks like?

Was this filmed near any Mil facilities / anything noteworthy in that location?

So the orbs are light at night and metallic during the day? So we can see them at the right times. Ok

  4. I saw two things that sorta looked like this doing a figure 8 pattern before they faded out about 8 months ago in Canada. Was pretty cool.
