Can’t find any information on what this might be from. 3/17/26 at 8:10 PM in Maryland facing east. Saw a bright light moving before it disappeared and then left this trail and the light at the top left. Assuming a rocket launch, but not sure from where.

Rockets generally don’t turn that quickly unless they’re out of control. That turn looks controlled (constant, smooth radius through the turn and what looks like a return to the original heading) so I’m guessing it’s a contrail off of a fighter jet.
