Pretty sure this has been shared here before, but I think it's worth another look.

It's a document called "The Poltergeist Initiative" – subtitled as a counterintelligence operational manual for infiltrating and running disinfo in UFO/UAP online communities. Dated June 10, 2022, marked CLASSIFIED.

No idea if it's real. It could be an elaborate fake. But even if it is, whoever put this together knew what they were doing – it covers subreddit profiling, avoiding detection while posing as genuine community members, manufacturing consensus, seeding conspiracy theories to muddy the waters, and fabricating video and image evidence etc

Real or fake, a lot of it reads like a pretty accurate description of what this community has been dealing with for years.

Does anyone know where this originally came from?

No one would be surprised about it. Counter-intel is a valid activity of the intel community. I have no idea where it’s from though. Someone could probably put in a FOIA request for it to see if it’s real, based on the recent executive order about declassifying all this stuff.

The sad thing is that Reddit is really, really easy to manipulate without bothering with any of this. This is just a systematic guide that any dope could figure out given a bit of time to think about it.

I don’t care about Russian spy-planes or Iranian spy-drones or Chinese balloons, nor do I care about declassifying it. I just wanna know if they’re hiding aliens.

Is the idea behind this that they’re muddying the waters to conceal actual anomalous phenomena? Or to hide skunkworks newest baby?
