Why is the Egyptian sphinx constantly used as symbolism by the U.S. space force

You might find Chris Bledsoe’s story interesting. He’s an experiencer who claims to have had encounters with a feminine presence he calls “The Lady.” In one of those encounters, he says she gave him a message that’s often quoted in discussions about ancient symbolism and astronomy.

The line most commonly cited is:

“When the red star of Regulus aligns just before dawn in the gaze of the Sphinx, a new knowledge shall come into the world.”

Bledsoe says this refers to the moment when the star Regulus appears on the eastern horizon just before sunrise in the direction the Great Sphinx of Giza is facing. He describes Regulus as appearing reddish when it’s rising low on the horizon before dawn. According to his retellings, when that star rises in the line of sight of the Sphinx, it marks a turning point where new knowledge begins to enter the world.

Some people who follow his story have tried to calculate when this might occur astronomically and believe the timing could fall somewhere around 2026, particularly near Easter or during certain dawn risings of Regulus, though that part is mostly interpretation.

In the broader context of his experiences, Bledsoe connects the message to the idea that humanity may be approaching a shift in awareness or understanding. He often speaks about the return of forgotten or ancient wisdom and the role of a guiding feminine presence helping humanity through a transitional period.

What’s interesting is that the idea of a celestial sign marking a turning point for humanity isn’t unique to Chris Bledsoe’s story. There are a few traditions that describe something very similar.

For example, the Hopi Blue Star Prophecy says that when the Blue Star Kachina appears in the heavens, it signals the end of the current world cycle and the beginning of the Fifth World. It’s described as a period of purification and transformation before humanity enters a new era of balance and knowledge.

Some people see an interesting parallel between that and the message Bledsoe says he received about Regulus aligning with the gaze of the Great Sphinx, marking the arrival of “new knowledge” into the world. In both cases, a specific celestial event is described as signaling a transition point for humanity.

There are a few other traditions that echo the same basic theme as well. In Book of Revelation, celestial signs in the heavens are described as accompanying major turning points in human history. And in Mayan religion, the completion of long calendar cycles was also tied to the idea that humanity periodically moves from one world age into another.

Whether someone views these literally or symbolically, it’s interesting that very different cultures and modern experiencer accounts all describe a similar pattern: a notable sign appearing in the sky that marks the beginning of a new phase of understanding or awareness for humanity.
