I like the triangle ones because they remind me of interferometry swarms we are trying to build in space, and which we use for all sorts of tasks outside of astronomy. Basically by changing the orientation of your sensors in relation to each other, you change the resolution and focal point. You create a giant virtual lens between your sensors, which is tuned by tweaking the shape of the virtual lens.
