How much of the later Soviet system was already built during Lenin’s time?

I’ve been reading a lot about the early Soviet state and how many of the institutions that defined it later were already created during Lenin’s rule.

Some historians argue that Stalin fundamentally transformed the system, while others say many of the core structures were already in place after the revolution.

I made a short documentary analyzing how Lenin built the early Soviet power structure and why those institutions mattered later.
