“.Neil does not have any special knowledge about the ET bodies and debris from the Roswell” – Surely he would tell his wife about that or anyone else.

From Facebook: “[Neil McCasland](https://www.facebook.com/neil.mccasland?__cft__%5B0%5D=AZaa-UFAXB7lq6o4rOyLd0L4jcg-WvQza-ZWUHlgIk6XFeSxTmPTckhu_GuI0mujErebvG47qPYWQGtVUaTDmfpwQICKA7cvKpgg_VDZTtnuuzKVQ1T0IK40AxzCMFE-5Es&__tn__=-%5DK-R) has now been missing for one week. There has been no indication whatsoever of where he might be. There have been dozens of searchers on foot, both official and friends and neighbors of Neil’s, who coordinate with the official sources. There have also been horseback searchers, drones with different capabilities, helicopters, three different types of search dogs, neighborhood canvassing and looking for Ring or wildlife videos. Organizations involved are [Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office](https://www.facebook.com/BCSONM?__cft__%5B0%5D=AZaa-UFAXB7lq6o4rOyLd0L4jcg-WvQza-ZWUHlgIk6XFeSxTmPTckhu_GuI0mujErebvG47qPYWQGtVUaTDmfpwQICKA7cvKpgg_VDZTtnuuzKVQ1T0IK40AxzCMFE-5Es&__tn__=-%5DK-R) (BCSO) which is the lead organization, Albuquerque field office of the FBI, NM State Search and Rescue, Albuquerque Mountain Rescue, Air Force Office of Special Investigations, Albuquerque Police Department, and maybe others of which I am unaware. I am so grateful to one and all for their unflagging dedicated efforts and support.

I would like to take this opportunity to dispel some of the misinformation circulating about Neil and his disappearance, mostly from uninformed media sources.

    1. The initial Silver Alert from BCSO mentioned medical conditions, which some have taken to mean Alzheimer’s. Neil is at some risk, but not from dementia. He was not confused and disoriented.

    2. There was no concerning Friday-morning telephone call to a close relative. I have been in contact with all of his close relatives and some not-so-close ones. This is a complete fabrication.

    3. It is true that when Neil was in the Air Force, he had access to home highly classified programs and information. He retired from the AF almost 13 years ago and has had only very commonly held clearances since. It seems quite unlikely that he was taken to extract very dated secrets from him.

    4. It is true that Neil had a brief association with the UFO community through Tom DeLonge, former frontman for Blink-182 and founder of the organization To The Stars. Neil worked with Tom for a bit shortly after his Air Force retirement as an unpaid (Neil’s choice) consultant on military and technical/scientific matters to lend verisimilitude to Tom’s fiction book and media activities. After the Russians hacked John Podesta’s emails (see Neil’s Wikipedia page), there was less contact with Tom and the community pushing for release of UFO information. This connection is not a reason for someone to abduct Neil. Neil does not have any special knowledge about the ET bodies and debris from the Roswell crash stored at Wright-Patt. Though at this point with absolutely no sign of him, maybe the best hypothesis is that aliens beamed him up to the mothership. However, no sightings of a mothership hovering above the Sandia Mountains have been reported.

All the thoughts and prayers from around the country are much appreciated. I will update if/when any real information comes in.”

    >”Neil does not have any special knowledge about the ET bodies and debris from the Roswell crash stored at Wright-Patt.”

No doubt poor wording due to her headspace, but in the literal sense this is phrased as though there *are* ET bodies and debris from Roswell stored at Wright-Patterson.

Is it just me or does his wife not seem very worried he’s been gone for a week and NOBODY has a fucking clue where he went?

One of the biggest things that sucks about Neil’s line of work is that he even had to keep the reality of his work secret from his wife. Anyone who has ever worked in the classified (even far far less classified than we are talking here) space knows this completely sucks. What did you do today? Nothing much, just [insert basic thing here that matches your job description]. Howdy neighbor, what do you do for a living? [insert completely boring mundane things so you don’t seem antisocial]. Not that there is necessarily anything great or super important that you are doing, but it’s having to always be guarded and keep that mental line between home and work. I think everyone has it to some degree, like if you work in corporate, you don’t want to reveal some project to a rival company at a kids birthday party, but for those working in the classified space it is just that, but with nearly everything you do on a daily basis at work.

  6. Interesting this is not on the news at all yet that woman missing from what Arizona or wherever was on the news non-stop for weeks.

  7. Hate to say it, but he probably just fell and tripped on a hike and is either lost or, hopefully not, dead. The Sandia mountains are a hundred square miles of very rugged forest with pretty extreme verticality. People die every year in those mountains. I worked with a woman whose brother went missing for two weeks on a trail that I have personally climbed a few times. They found him dead in a tree 40 feet up.

I hope that’s not the case for Neil, but it’s my most likely suspicion.

Edit: I looked at his facebook, it’s literally 100% mountaineering, skiing, alpine shit. He is 100% in the mountains, either FO’ing off the grid for a little reset, or he is in some sort of medical emergency.

  8. Why does this come off in parts as a flippant attitude when her husband has been missing for a week?

“It seems quite unlikely that he was taken to extract very dated secrets from him.” I’m sorry, but I don’t think anyone is suggesting that. They are suggesting this man has been disappeared by what he could reveal about SAPs if he is subpoenaed.

” maybe the best hypothesis is that aliens beamed him up to the mothership. ”

Her husband has been missing for a week and she makes a joke about alien motherships?

I absolutely think this is UAP related. The timing couldn’t be more strange since trump ordered files released. Was he abducted and taken into some CIA underground protection program so he wouldn’t speak out more than he already has , abducted and disposed because of his knowledge? Did he run away in fear for his own life or prosecution?

  12. Sure, he doesn’t know about Roswell because he wasn’t commander then. But he might knows something about orbs and disappearing planes.

McCasland was a Major General and Executive Secretary of the Special Access Program Oversight Committee (SAPOC). And in 2026 he left his house **without a cell phone** and disappeared (we know he doesn’t have a phone on him, or he’d be found by now).

In my mind, that means two things.

*Most likely*: He’s one of the unfortunately common “silver alerts,” who wander off. Hopefully to be found but not always.

*Less likely* but the FBI is probably looking into this: he was meeting someone covertly and part of meeting anyone secretly in 2026 is not bringing a cell phone that is reporting your whereabouts with an accuracy of 3 meters to the meeting.

No “special” knowledge, only the common knowledge of the Roswell bodies and downed craft taken to and stored (at least in part) at Wright-Patterson AFB. That’s how I interpret that. Hope he’s not in pain with a broken set of legs, starving for company, laying in a ditch, waiting to be discovered.

  15. This is posted on her Facebook page so it is authentic. She’s quite a character. She also said in a response that “no foul play is suspected” for what it is worth.

Did she just say the Roswell craft and bodies ARE stored at wright patt? lmao, Not allegedly huh

That is an odd posting from the wife.

Strange to go into all the UFO detail.

You would think she wouldn’t want to invite all the UFO speculation and stick the facts about his disappearance.

Until this post, I did not think General McCasland’s disappearance was necessarily suspicious. I live in NM. It’s a harsh land. My wife and I often joke, that it is truly, “no country for old men”. There are numerous ways to die while out for a casual hike. It’s hard to explain if you’re a tourist who has only seen Santa Fe, or perhaps a Taos ski lodge. In any case, now, I’m scratching my head.

First, the Silver Alert warning reference of medical conditions does not seem relevant, and it certainly misled people to believe dementia was involved. Second, the whole tone of this post is strange, and as others have said, almost flipant. Third, the Tom DeLonge, connection is interesting, particularly when one follows up and sees that DeLonge thought he was indeed an important man, privy to many secrets. Fourth, his wife refers frankly to “the ET bodies and debris” from Roswell. While she states her husband has no special knowledge about those things, she takes it for granted that the reader understands those events are in play, and not just distracting myths. Finally, I found the comment about being beamed up, inappropriate. Was it just a joke, coming from stress?

    Now, I’m intrigued.
