So. This is a video I took back around 2022, right outside my window. I only saw it out of the corner of my eye at first, assumed it was probably just the light of the moon, and had to double take bc I realized what I was looking at was NOT the moon. I live in the Appalachian Mountains so seeing things like this at around 12 at night was something I had never seen before, and no one else I’ve talked to has been able to remotely explain to me what this may be.
It was very orange in color, made no sound, and relatively large considering my windows are decently sized and tall (you can see the frame of it as I’m recording.) I’m so sorry if the quality is bad, my phone camera is ass and by the time I noticed what I was looking at I had scrambled to grab it 🙏 It was completely still, no motion at all, and then suddenly (without any velocity build up) started zooming away. Never seen it again. I’ve kept this video for years now since I didn’t want to end up making a fool of myself for mistaking it for a UFO, but atp idgaf and I just wanna know if I’m crazy or not 😭

Submission Statement: I swear this orange ball of doom has never left my mind since I had seen it that night. I would have followed it if I could have, but it was the middle of winter (if I recall correctly) and I was not going outside to chase some strange thing I may or may not have saw lol. Anyways, I really hope this can be brought to light, I’ll be a bit disappointed if it ends up being something man-made, but the strange properties it had makes me think otherwise 🟠
I’m not sure, but it looks like a video from someone’s cell phone.
Flashing lights make me think it’s a helicopter
