On Saturday, the Alien Spirit Jam took place at Roswell High School. The annual spirit competition saw middle and high school cheer and dance teams from across New Mexico compete for their respective class championships. The local middle schools of Berrendo, Mt. View, Sierra and Mesa, plus Goddard High, Roswell High and Dexter schools all came to compete. All of the local schools came away with wins in different categories and trophies, while the Roswell High cheer team and the Charlie’s Angels were Grand champions.
