I took this image of the sun back on December 3rd 2025. While exploring Snapseed HDR Space feature exposed four curious artifacts on the edge of the sun. Anyone have an idea what this might be?
The black things? They’re solar spots which are the result of magnetic activity.

On the edges . I think it’s some artifact of the imaging.

This is a result of Snapseed not the photo you took. I’d advise against using the hdr section of it unless it’s the people one as the other ones usually introduce some sort of artifacts.Â
