The National Space Intelligence Center(NSIC) formerly known as "Space Delta 18" or "DEL 18", is the United States Space Force's intelligence agency. It is headquartered at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, and activated on 24 June 2022.

NSIC is a field operating agency that is responsible for performing national and military space missions and evaluating capabilities, performance, limitations, and vulnerabilities of space and counter-space systems and services. It is the Space Force's counterpart to the Army's National Ground Intelligence Center, Navy's Office of Naval Intelligence, and the Air Force's National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC).

    Interesting. I wonder why half the globe is blue and half is black. It also reminds me of the Star Trek symbol.

    This could have a very non conspiracy reason being that it represents our history to the stars. A symbol from ancient times and a symbol of future times.

    If anyone’s curious about the Egyptian head, its supposed to be a sphinx. NSIC split off from the the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) after the space force was founded. NASIC has always had a sphinx in its logo, going back to its earliest versions back around WWII. Most of the sub units in NASIC also have a sphinx in the logo still today. NSIC keeping it in their logo is just a nod to its history.

    As for why a sphinx, likely just because it represents wisdom and intelligence in mythology.

    Going to elaborate, or no? Because using an ancient symbol of might, ingenuity, and astronomy on a space organization makes a lot of sense to me, tbh.
