On July 16th, L'Espresso, one of the top Italian news magazines, reported that an effort by the the Trump administration to move oversight of Special Access Programs from the Pentagon to directly under the White House has been successful, and Trump will use UFO disclosure as a justification.

He will also use it as an issue for the midterms:

“But in the corridors of Washington, some read this move in more political terms: a card to play in the next electoral campaign. Trump himself, sources say, is intrigued by the possibility of “using” the UFO issue to present himself as the president who finally tells Americans the truth.”

Read the whole article. It’s a fucking ruse.

Yes. It’s crystal clear. There’s no mistake that dude is using it for his own gain.

There’s no real disclosure coming. Anything Trump says will be received with skepticism.

UFOs will not sway the elections at all. Too many people are upset over the garbage job and all the bullshit he’s been doing. This is another version of the “distraction” argument.

  3. Just one question: If he wants to be “the president who finally tells Americans the truth.” and he ends up doing that…would it be wrong? I mean, isn’t it what you’ve always wanted?

If he delivers then people will follow, is it that bad if he does it for his own selfish reasons? I thought you wanted the truth..

  4. Not sure that’s a good strategy. He already blew his load by saying he’s releasing the files. He’d have to be like “wait!! There are some EXTRA classified docs I’ll release if republicans win the house!!”

Now that I read that back, that’s exactly something he would do

It’s wild that anybody expects this administration to tell them the truth about the phenomenon. The administration that largely appears compromised by Russia, is openly corrupt and trying to destroy democracy, has been methodically causing division in our country for the past decade, attempted a coup that people have conveniently forgotten about, has a fucking Gestapo, is defying the constitution they claimed to love, and has been covering up and continues to coverup one of the biggest cases of all time, is going to tell the world the truth, the actual truth, about NHI? Any truth that they disclose is to fuel their agenda and spread whatever narrative they want people to believe.

A political figure is using something that’ll make him look good? Noooo wayyyyyy.

Doesn’t mean what he’s using isn’t true? And if it’s true it’s still great that it’s finally being said. IF it’s true

  7. Yep and it’s a great play. As a single issue voter it’ll work on me anyway. This topic feels more important than politics lol it’s about understanding reality.

Just taking a quick poll: is anybody here likely to change their vote based on Trump championing disclosure? I’m certainly not

That’s good if we are forcing him to play his valuable cards in advance before he planned to.

Keep up the pressure. KEEP READING THE FILES.

This is what this community has been waiting for. There is more bipartisan support and momentum than there ever has been and all I see is you pussies making this sub read like r/politics. We are our own worst enemies. Any decision made by any administration, red or blue, is for political gain. Lets just hope something interesting is released on the UFO issue and then burn the Epstien friends to the ground

  11. they got a good handle on the nhi contact and awakening phenomena, it is definitely being exploited

  12. I think Trump is the one to reveal what every other politician is afraid to. You may hate him but he is the most unique president we have ever had. I would support him with disclosure

Most political actors operate within perceived self-interest. The question isn’t whether he benefits but whether the information stands independently of who delivers it.
