Cruise experience – feb 14 2026 – video, weird sighting I didn’t photograph and SUPER WERID DREAM

Location: in the gulf headed back towards galveston

OK, this is probably going to be a bit long. I'll start with the video, describe the lights I saw, and then go into my SUPER weird dream, because that's how the sequence of events happened.

I've been on 5 different cruises and I've never seen anything like what I was able to capture in the video. THIS IS ONLY WHAT I WAS ABLE TO CAPTURE WITH MY PHONE, there were like hundreds of these things around the surface of the water, going up and down (some going really high) some traveling faster than our ship and some going forward and backwards (towards the front and back of the ship). I don't think it could have been blown around by the wind because they were literally going in like every direction and there were so many traveling in different directions at the same time. two right next to each other could be going in complete opposite directions.

If you have any ideas about what I recorded in the video, I'd love to hear your ideas!!! there's the one main one that I zoom in on and follow, and now that I watch it back I saw a second one. maybe you can see more?

THE LIGHTS

The last night of the cruise we were coming back into Galveston and I woke up to go pee, we had a balcony cabin and when I was coming back to bed I noticed that there were these four BRIGHT orange lights outside. It was two sets of two with like a white light bar under each set. I didn't think much of it because we were coming into port and I just assumed they were lights from a tug boat so I didn't take a picture of them. flash forward to the morning and I had had a CRAZY WEIRD dream (I'll get to it next) but because of the dream it had me rethinking of the lights. So I googled navigation lights for tug boats and nothing matched what I saw, not even close. The tug boats I saw online were lit the fuck up with a bunch of different lights, nothing with two sets of two orange lights with a bar of white lights underneath. Then I remembered the lights were almost at the same level as our balcony, on the 10th deck. I went out on the balcony and there were tug ships next to the boat, none of which had lights on them and they were so low in the water I think it would have been hard to mistake them as been up 10 stories in the air.

Does anyone know about boating navigation lights? could they have been from a tug boat? they just seemed so close and so high up it's hard for me to think it was from a ship. I don't know what to think and I wish I had taken a photo.

THE DREAM

so after I went back to bed from going pee I had this super weird dream.

I was a part of a team of people who were trying to contact aliens for the government. No one really knew what was going on though. there was a guy who was building part of a super precise machine, but he had no idea that that was the purpose of the machine. I was supposed to try to send messages telepathically to someone, but I had no idea who I was trying to contact. the machine was supposed to help me focus my thoughts and make it easier to telepathically send info to my counterpart, but the machine never got built. I never got the chance to try to send messages. I never even had any idea what they wanted me to try to send telepathically. I know that we were the 2nd team as the first team was unsuccessful.

unfortunately that was it, typing it out now seems like its anticlimactic and not that important. it was about a week ago and I'm probably not remembering a lot of it, but I know I woke up feeling super weird about it.

I feel like I don't really dream that often, and I have never had a dream about aliens before, so I think that's what makes it odd to me. And I don't think the lights could have caused my dream because when I went to bed, I was thinking the lights were from a ship.
