What is this??

Hi everyone,

I’m located in Sestri Levante, Liguria (Italy).

While I was sitting on a bar terrace this evening, I noticed a sequence of illuminated circular lights moving across the sky directly above me.

They appeared to follow each other in a very symmetrical formation.

They were:

– too symmetrical to look like meteors

– too fast and too bright to seem like typical consumer drones

– very close to each other, moving along the same trajectory

The lights were steady (not blinking like airplane navigation lights) and seemed evenly spaced.

Does anyone have expertise in astronomy, aviation, military activity, or satellite tracking who could help explain what this might be?
