2 enormously sized women with a even taller man in a top hat behind them. Seems everyone is around 5.5ft with the two women 9-10ft and even taller man. Did giants blend in with society or is there something missing we have not been told?

It’s called perspective. And the woman are on the type of the rise. Look at the child that comes up to almost her shoulder.
OP shields their eyes from the sun with a hand, exclaiming “wow, I sure am lucky to have a hand larger than that bright, annoying sun! I can see again!”

It seems to me the ground is sloping down behing the women in white. You can see behind them theres a person shins where the feet should be visible if the ground was flat. Also, look at their height in relation to the railing and the lady walking towards thems comparatively. Not to mention there not really a way to guage the distance of the people to the right of them in the street.
