    >In a 2014 interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Clinton revealed his longstanding interest in extraterrestrial life, saying he had aides research Area 51 — the top-secret U.S. Air Force base that has fueled decades of UFO speculation — to ensure there was no hidden alien activity there.

    >He noted his interest in Roswell, New Mexico, which was the site of a supposed UFO siting in 1947.

But as per this Salon article from 2018, his interest went a lot deeper and his investigation was blocked.

    > Bill Clinton and UFOs: Did he ever find out if the truth was out there?

    > Clinton did want to know, Webster Hubbell, Clinton’s associate attorney general, wrote in his own memoir. As AAG, Hubbell claimed that President Clinton asked him to find out all that he could about two things: who killed JFK and what the government knew about UFOs. He reported to the president after being stonewalled by the relevant agencies that there was a secret government that closely holds secrets to which the president doesn’t even have access.

Overall, respectable even if a bit superficial, but “little green men” and “David *Gursch*” made me groan.

And no Bush Sr./Dubya? Theirs are the most interesting.
