Mysterious beam of light illuminates an entire Patagonian town as if it were daylight. The phenomenon occurred at 4 a.m. and was recorded by a local resident. “It was as if someone had switched on a giant spotlight in the sky,” she said.

“That beam struck a small hill. The light was very intense. At first, I saw it as red. I wanted to take a photo, but I couldn’t because it was moving too fast. It was a circular motion,” she explained. “It was as if the ground had been illuminated. A beam that lights up everything. It practically turned into day. This lasted five seconds.”
