Steven Spielberg’s upcoming sci-fi Disclosure Day has just revealed a new trailer during the Super Bowl, and the new movie looks utterly terrifying as everyone gets a glimpse at humanity’s first contact with aliens.

Spielberg’s newest sci-fi also boasts an impressive cast, including Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, Colman Domingo, Eve Hewson, Colin Firth, and Wyatt Russell. “If you found out we weren’t alone, if someone showed you, proved it to you, would that frighten you?” Disclosure Day will explore humanity’s first contact with aliens and O’Connor’s character is ready to expose the truth to the world.

During Super Bowl 2026, a new trailer showcasing Disclosure Day was released, giving a whole new look to the upcoming sci-fi which will premiere on June 12, 2026. The movie is based on a story by Spielberg with the screenplay written by David Koepp, who has worked with the director on Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, and War of the Worlds.

O’Connor’s line featured in the trailer is: “Full disclosure to the whole world. All at once.” His character is seen investigating crop circles while Blunt’s character is trying to hide her true identity. At the end of the trailer, a UFO is seen coming into view as Spielberg’s upcoming sci-fi turns into a sinister warning. Firth is also shown strapped to a chair as his eyes and appearance completely change, much like Blunt’s, hinting at a possible alien takeover of humans.

While no character names or much more details are specifically revealed, the trailer featured during Super Bowl LX. It did show Disclosure Day’s star-studded cast and the eerie and sinister tone of what people can expect from what is likely going to be a standout movie for Spielberg. This will mark a big sci-fi comeback for Spielberg, whose last venture into the genre was with 2018’s Ready Player One.

Disclosure Day will be released in theaters on June 12, 2026.
