RAPID CITY, S.D. – Two Comets signed on the dotted line Wednesday to make their college decisions official.

Brynn Casey signed to play basketball at Mount Marty University in Yankton. Casey leads the Comets in scoring with 11.6 points per game.

She says it was the Lancers’ coach that sealed the deal, “I decided a few months back and what clinched it is the coach is just awesome and I’m just so excited to play under him. The environment of Mount Marty is great. Everyone was so welcoming and kind. I’m just really excited to continue my career there as a player and academics.”

Faith King signed with Northwestern College in Iowa. The senior will be playing volleyball for the Red Raiders.

King had a stellar career has a Comet, racking up over 1,000 assists and digs, along with 931 kills.

Now she’s excited to continue her career at Northwestern, “They strive for excellence in everything in the classroom and on the court. They’re a very competitive program which I admire. I think the coaching staff is great. They have a great vision. I love the way that they coach. I’m just super excited to get to be a part of that.”
