I get the cynicism, I’ve followed the topic since the 90s and I get it. However, if you compare the progress made in recent years to pretty much any other decade since Roswell? It feels like we’ve come a long way.
Whether it’s a psyop or UFOs truly are real, the government seems to want to slowly trickle out more information to us, and either reality is insane.
I figure if Jake barber and his company are real they got an offer they can’t refuse, I also believe they did this on purpose to get funding, there’s a there but these people have motives, unfortunately this means people that actually believe in this stuff are second nature, no one cares and we have been here for 50 years already. Just keep posting stories and hope someone on the inside will spill the beans.

Predictions aren’t the reason those guys are in the public eye so I don’t look to them for predictions any more than cooking recipes. Barber’s only purpose is to report findings on psionics and Coulthart’s only purpose is to tell us what other people have told him. But they are entitled to their opinions about anything they want.
Copy+pasting this here from another recent thread, for those wondering what Skywatcher has been up to lately:
– Skywatcher is still going strong, but they’ve been quiet as they’re in their data-analysis phase. Garry Nolan is spearheading this effort. It was said that some initial results could possibly come in late 2025, but are more likely some time into 2026, as they’re still sifting through around 10TB of data they’ve previously collected.
– Part of the delay has been a result of ameliorating the merging of the various “cultures” within Skywatcher. There are military guys (who attend the field events as security / other roles) who make up one part of the organization, the financial side (Alex Klokus and others) funding the effort and “cracking the whip” to keep things moving forward, and the science side that’s being driven by Garry. Some of the contention has been due to the typical “move fast and break things” mentality of normal startup culture, while still trying to do things methodically and scientifically which takes time.
– They still have weekly meetings and are currently planning future field-collection efforts with a group that specializes in radar.
– James Fowler departed Skywatcher this past summer to move on to other government work, as his role was primarily in standing up the organization and getting things rolling. He is still working with Skywatcher in an advisory capacity, and is in regular contact with the group.

I think it’s safe to say, Jake barber along with everything he said up to this point can be completely disregarded.
I don’t think he said that claiming to be in the know. He said that believing it would happen by then. With that said, if 2028 hits without disclosure I’m leaving this sub lol

At the UAP Detection and Tracking Summit on February 7-8th we’ll get an update from James Fowler, Gary Nolan and one other person from their Skywatcher team about where they are in the process of their discovery framework and it sounds like they’ll be showing some new data as well. They talk less because they’re doing the work and science takes time. Gary Nolan, Alex Klokus and James Fowler being involved gives me confidence that they’ll deliver even if it’s a little past the deadline they gave themselves.
How did we not think Barber was full of it? He seemed fake AF when he started fake crying and saying that he was possessed by the most beautiful spirit he’d ever been possessed by… Like, uh what?!? How many spirits have you already been possessed by? He just seemed like someone in theater class, trying to muster up a cry.

I think I’ve been following this topic since 2017… after nearly 10 years, I don’t think it’ll ever happen.
I didn’t believe anything initially, dude seemed way off and like he has something serious mental condition. His eyes are zonked and he doesn’t blink.
Then his little egg video made me laugh so hard. I mean. Maybe this guy is smart and he knows he can exploit people who truly want to believe.
I wouldn’t ever listen to a word that guy says or watch anything with him in it. He’s a complete hack who is just trying to save his business.
Honeslty if the government’s just come out with all the information they have about the phenomenon id be happy even if it’s just then saying “we genuinely have no idea, we’ve been studying it for decades but aren’t any closer to an answer”

Citizen led disclosure is the only way. Barber was the tip of that spear until Skywatcher was apparently shut down after intelligence agencies infiltrated the operation. His silence means he’s been compromised. However, Matt Brown, David Grusch, and Dylan Borland, are true whistleblowers. They all say citizen led disclosure is the only way. If citizen scientists can prove the existence of UAP and NHI, that’s how the world will finally know the truth about reality

I don’t remember Jake Barber making any firm predictions, I interpreted it as him sharing his beliefs about what would happen?
As for Ross I don’t get where the slander comes from, people on reddit are so over the top. He predicted “big things” would happen and in that time frame it did – the Age of Disclosure documentary premiered and was acclaimed at the film festival. Was Ross to know it would take freaking ages for the documentary to make it to streaming services? Well now that it finally has it has been a big deal, it made mainstream media and they covered it not in a silly giggling way but they took it seriously, and a lot more people are caught up and paying attention.
Regardless of the film Ross did recently predict we would have disclosure, and for a moment there when Trump was doing his bullshit with Venezuela and Greenland that looked like a genuine possibility. But then two things happened: 1. The scrubbed island files were released with nothing incriminating Trump and 2. Nothing has come out from the FBIs investigation into UFOs. So there’s no pressure or incentive to distract the masses and give the “We are not alone” televised speech.
So yeah Ross has backtracked on this one but at least he’s transparent and explains his reasons. I’m not writing him off though because I personally agree with him and I think he’s truly proven himself at this point, his interview with Grusch was a massive turning point in history and we wouldn’t be here without Ross’s work.

They will never disclose a damn thing, don’t hold your breath. They are hiding something much bigger behind these so-called “UAP Unacknowledged Special Access Programs.” But if you follow all of the multilayered OSINT breadcrumbs, then you will start getting a pretty good idea what is lurking behind the veil. Start up some conversations in subs with folks that tend to orbit around highly classified projects. Start chasing those shadows and modulate that with your OSINT findings. Then you might very well be onto something.
