I watch the usgs site on a pretty regular basis & saw a "non-earthquake" explosion noted near Benton city, WA measuring 2.8 with a very shallow depth. Turns out there have been quite a few of these throughout the years in this location. This is also near the Hanford Manhattan project site which is said to have been decommissioned. What do you think they are testing underground?

Edit: Central Washington Asphalt company is around that location, could this be quarrying or is the explosion too large? Can someone weigh in?
I see this on usgs still today, but nothing anywhere else on net. Doing more research, will share whatever I find.
