I need a sanity check. Last night around 3:30 AM, my dog woke me up barking. I walked out and my old CRT TV (which is unplugged from cable) was ON.
It was playing this weird test pattern with a low, thrumming hum that made my teeth hurt. It said "SECTOR 4 – SIGNAL CALIBRATION."
I freaked out and yanked the power cord.
This morning, I Googled the text "Midwest Agri-Extension Sector 4" to see if there was a local broadcast test in Tennessee. I found this YouTube channel that uploaded the exact same clip this morning. Who is running this channel? Is this a pirate signal? It claims to be an archive from 1994, but my TV picked it up last night.
